UNESCO stands for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. It is a specific agency of the UN that was founded in 1946, located in Paris, France. It was for the purpose of contributing to world peace by promoting international collaboration in areas such as: education, science, and culture. This meant that further global respect for justice, the law, basic human rights, and fundamental freedoms proclaimed in the UN Charter.

United Nations Children Fund was founded in December 1946, in the country of Geneva, Switzerland. It allows for humanitarian aid to be distributed to women and children in third world countries. UNICEF has a large staff that are spread over 190 countries, meaning that they can work with people in the fields. Although, UNICEF is a non-profit organisation, reliant on donations.
